# Fitly AI features

*Fitly is one agent doing the job of five apps. The chat is the remote control; behind it are 50+ tools, a full dashboard, and one brain that holds all of it. Here's the whole toolkit.*

## How it works

- **Tell Fitly about you** — goals, stats, injuries, allergies, supplements, preferences. A couple of minutes and your agent knows you.
- **Just talk to it** — describe meals, ask for plans, snap photos, or say it out loud. Your AI remembers everything.
- **It gets smarter** — Fitly learns your habits and adapts its guidance over time.
- **See your progress** — dashboard, macro rings, weight trends, and streaks, all auto-populated.

## Log it however you want

Describe a meal in plain English, say it out loud with voice, snap a photo, scan a barcode, or type it in manually. Fitly also reads nutrition labels, scale readings, and treadmill/cardio screens from a photo. Voice is first-class: hands-free logging and full voice conversations (iOS, Fitly AI & Pro).

Food coverage checks four sources in order, then estimates if it has to: a curated USDA + common-foods database, barcode scan via Open Food Facts, live web search for restaurant and obscure foods, and a smart macro estimate so a missing food never stops you.

## Plan your week

Tell your agent the shape of your week once ("Sunday at 2pm is leg day, breakfast around eight") and it plans against it: each weekday maps to a real plan day, meal times match your day, and scheduled rest days are treated as rest rather than as a workout you skipped. Dated events carry a time of day, and a goal with a deadline paces every answer between now and the date.

## A journey with a destination

"Down 20 by the wedding", "deadlift 315", or just two honest weeks of logging: one journey at a time, with milestones, a game plan your agent writes, and a pace it keeps you honest about. Deadline journeys get a countdown; open-ended ones hold a steady rate. On-track verdicts are computed from your weight trend line rather than any single weigh-in, the weight chart gains a Journey view with your target and required-pace lines, a weekly check-in reports the pace, and arrival day gets an honest reckoning. Safety rails cap the pace at about 1% of body weight per week. Completed chapters stay in your history and export as a share card. It starts at signup: say where you're headed, and your first conversation shapes the journey.

## Connected to Apple Health

Connect Apple Health on iOS and the numbers you never think to type flow in on their own: sleep, steps, and active energy fill the daily check-in; smart-scale weigh-ins land on the weight trend; workouts finished in other apps are counted once, never double-logged against the plan; and net calories use measured burn rather than an estimate. The sync is read-only (Fitly never writes to Apple Health), synced values are labeled "from Apple Health", a night's sleep is attributed to the day you woke up, and a value you enter yourself always wins over a synced one. Works with anything that writes to Apple Health (Apple Watch, Oura, Garmin, Withings, and hundreds more) and is included on every plan, Fitly Lite included. No wearable required: every field stays hand-enterable.

## Progress that keeps perspective

Daily weight swings are mostly water and timing. Fitly plots a time-aware trend line through the noise so one scary weigh-in never wrecks your week. Weigh in by chat, scale photo, smart scale via Apple Health, or by hand; choose lb or kg and mi or km.

Your agent also knows what you take. Tell it during setup (or any time in chat) that you're on creatine, protein powder, caffeine, or anything else, and it reads your trend through that: starting creatine puts 2-4 lb of water on the scale in the first week or two, so the jump gets called water rather than a stalled cut, and your calorie target is left alone. It's context for reading your numbers, not a supplement tracker: there's no dosing, timing, or daily supplement log, and your agent never advises you to start or stop anything.

## Daily check-in

A twenty-second check-in covers energy, hunger, soreness (and where), stress, mood and hours slept, on 1-5 scales that read in words rather than numbers, plus a journal for the days that need more. Connect Apple Health and the sleep, steps, and burn arrive on their own. It is not a chart nobody opens: the day's check-in rides in the agent's context on every message, so it knows you slept five hours before it programs your session and knows you have been starving for three days before it defends your calorie target. Multi-day patterns are flagged automatically (two short nights running, sustained low energy or hunger). A 30-day consistency grid lives in Trends, and stale weigh-ins and measurements get a nudge.

## Body measurements and recomposition

Tape measurements at 13 sites (waist, hips, chest, shoulders, neck, and sided biceps, forearms, thighs and calves, tracked left and right separately), in centimetres or inches. Body fat is estimated from your height, neck and waist (plus hips) using the US Navy method, so you get the number without owning a smart scale; it is a tape estimate rather than a body scan, so the trend matters more than the exact figure. Fitly watches for recomposition: when your waist drops meaningfully while your weight holds flat over at least three weeks, it says so, because a flat scale during a successful recomp is the most common reason people quit a program that is working.

## Progress photos

Photos are kept by angle (front, side, back, other) so comparisons line up against the same view. Imported photos read their own date from the file, so old shots land in the right place on the timeline. Pick any two and Fitly renders them as a single before-and-after image in your theme, ready to share or export. Send a photo in chat and your agent offers to save it; it never files one on its own. Photos are served through links signed fresh on every view, never stored as a public URL.

## Share plans, get rewarded

Any workout or meal plan becomes a shareable card in your theme. A friend scans the QR from their Photos app (or drops the image into their own Fitly chat) and the plan lands in their account ready to use. When they use it, you earn a mystery box.

## Train your brain between sets

14 quick games, built in and offline, most of them over in under half a minute so one fits inside a rest timer without holding up the session. They follow your color theme and keep your personal bests. String them together and you get the Daily Brain Workout: 8 rounds drawn from a pool of 12, seeded so every player on earth gets the same 8 that day, scored out of 1000 with a letter grade (Keep training, Getting there, Warmed up, Sharp, Elite) and a shareable card carrying the per-game breakdown and a QR into that day's run. About three minutes end to end. Domains covered: reaction, processing speed, inhibition, memory, attention, scanning, logic and verbal. 4 games (Fitly Lights, Fitly Slide, Fitly Loops, Fitly Sort) are rare mystery-box unlocks; two of them guest-star in the Daily as a sneak peek before you own them.
