Fitly for coaches

Their agent tracks.You coach.

No more chasing food diaries, screenshots or a recap on check-in day. Their agent logs the week as it happens and you read it live, in the same tabs you use for yourself: change the plan, set the targets, ask a private assistant how they are really doing, then check in with one tap. The admin goes. The hours go back into coaching.

Free, no card. On iPhone, enter the code COACH when you sign up.

Built with a certified trainer and nutritionist who coaches this way.

Switch

Their data, in the app. Not in a portal.

Coaching platforms give you a dashboard about your client. Fitly gives you their Fitly. Pick a name in the bar above your tabs and every screen you already know shows their account, filled in by their agent as they lived the week rather than typed up before a session.

One tap on the bar above your tabs picks a client. Back to my own data is one more.
Dashboard, Meals, Workouts, Progress: the same four tabs you use for yourself, every number theirs.
The roster says who logged today, who has gone quiet, and who gave you edit access.
Nothing to export, transcribe, or assemble before a session. It is their account, read live.

Live

As it happens. Not a recap.

Your client is not filling in a food diary. They text their agent, say it out loud, or photograph the plate, and it does the logging. When logging is that cheap, it gets done on the bad days too. That is the difference between a week you can coach and one that was tidied up before you saw it. And it reaches you as it happens: a weigh-in at 7:02 is on their dashboard at 7:02.

Review lays the week out as plan against actual: calories against their target, protein, the workout and the weigh-in, every day
On target, over, under, or not logged, colour-coded so a bad week reads at a glance
Average calories, days logged, workouts and the weight change, in one line under the grid
Prev and Next walk your whole roster one client at a time on check-in day
Nobody is transcribing anything for you. A photo of the plate is a logged meal with macros on it

Ask

Ask where they're slipping. Skip the logs.

With a client selected, the chat is yours: a private thread with an assistant that already knows their last two weeks. Ask where they are slipping and it answers in numbers, about them, before you have opened a single log.

How are they doing today? How's their week going?Where are they slipping?Suggest a plan tweakWhat should I focus on?Any red flags?
Ask from any meal, exercise or plan on their tabs too: On plan? Macro read? Better swap? Progression?
It has read the last two weeks of their logs, plans and targets, and today's plan against actual
It answers about them, in numbers, and says so plainly when the data is thin
Read-only by design: to change anything, it points you to their tabs
It never reads their conversations with their own agent
One private thread per client per day. Your client cannot see it

Edit

Change the plan from their tabs.

With edit access, their Meals and Workouts tabs are yours to work in: the same plan editors you use for yourself, on their account. Save, and their agent works from the new plan from that moment. The line is simple: you write what you produce, and you read what they report.

With edit access, you change

Their meal plan
Their workout plan
Calorie, macro and water targets
Their goal, training days and diet style
Which library plan is active

Always theirs to record

Meals and water
Weigh-ins and measurements
Workouts as they lifted them
Daily check-ins
Their weekly schedule
Their profile, allergies and injuries
Their journey

You can read every one of these at any access level. You can never write them, so their record, and their account of themselves, stays theirs.

Check in

They log every day. Now they hear back.

In most coaching apps a client logs every day and hears nothing from the human until check-in day. Here it is one tap from the week you are already reading: pick a reaction, add a line if you have one, send. Round your whole roster in the time it takes to read it.

One a day per client, and editable after. Fixing your wording rewrites the one they have rather than buzzing them twice.
The numbers under it are read off their week when you send, not typed by you.
Anything you changed since your last check-in rides along. It is recorded when the change lands, not when you remember to mention it.
Nothing here can be scheduled or auto-sent. Every check-in is a person who opened their week.
View-only coaches check in too. Encouragement is not a data edit.

Messages

A conversation, not a pager.

When a check-in is not enough, either of you can write. Messages are threads, kept on that client's review next to the week they are about. They are shaped like email, not chat, on purpose: a coach who is always reachable is a coach who is never off.

Either of you starts one. You are not running a helpdesk queue that only opens when a client files something.
Composed and sent, not a live chat box. An input box sitting open implies you are there; a message behind a button implies you thought about it.
Three open at a time per client, counting only what you still owe. One person cannot fill your morning.
No read receipts, in either direction. Having seen a question and not answered it is worse news than silence.
Anything you owe sits above the check-in on their review. You cannot congratulate someone whose question you have not answered.
Done is per person and reversible. Clearing a thread off your review never takes it away from them.

Sarah is waiting on you

Is the Thursday swap permanent?

2d

Is the Thursday swap permanent or just this week? Asking because I have five-a-side that night from October.

About your check-in on Monday

Just this week. I will move it properly once your season starts, send me the fixture list.

Privacy

Some of it is never yours to see.

Their account opens to you. Their head does not. Three things stay theirs whatever access they grant, and none of them is a setting either of you can flip.

Their conversations with their agent, and what it remembers about them. Not a setting.
Their progress photos.
Their account and billing.

What they do grant is theirs to set, on the card here: the one they answer is the one we show you. They can change your access or disconnect at any time. It takes effect immediately, and you see that it ended.

What can your coach do?

Read only

Leave this off so they can adjust your plans as you go.

They can see

Your meals, workouts, weight, check-ins, plans, targets and progress stats, and your profile, including allergies and injuries.

They can change

Your plans and targets, plus your goal, training days and diet style, so they can adjust things as your training changes. Your logs, check-ins, profile and schedule stay yours to record.

They never see

Your chats with your agent, and your progress photos.

You can change this later, or remove them entirely.

Create invite link

Connected in three taps.

Nothing to set up. The relationship already exists; Fitly connects the accounts.

1

Send them a link

One link covers your whole roster: it never expires, works for everyone you send it to, and the page it opens explains Fitly to them for you. Or type a single client's email instead. Or they invite you first, from My Coach in their own Fitly.

2

See their week as it happens

Not a screenshot at check-in. The moment they accept, their name is in your selector bar and their week is in your tabs.

3

Ask, adjust, check in

Ask the assistant about any client, and with edit access change their plan from their own tabs. One tap sends them a check-in that names the week and reports what you changed.

One Pro subscription. No per-client fees.

Everyone pays for their own account, so nobody's access depends on anyone else's card. Your clients keep their agent, their data and their history no matter what happens with you.

Built from the coach's side of the table.

Fitly is built by Zoe and Brad Pineau, who lost 230 lbs between them. Zoe is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist who went on to compete in bodybuilding after losing 150. The coach tools are designed the way she wants to work with a client: the agent does the tracking, and the coach gets the truth.

Questions coaches ask first.

Do my clients need a subscription?

Yes. Connecting a coach is part of Fitly AI ($24.99/mo) and Fitly AI Pro. Each client pays for their own account, so there are no per-client fees on yours, and no seat caps.

What if my clients do not log?

That is the problem their agent exists to solve. Logging is a text, a voice note or a photo of the plate, so there is nothing to open, nothing to search and no portion sizes to guess at. Their agent texts them when a day goes quiet, so the chasing is not your job. If someone goes quiet anyway, their row on your roster says so rather than leaving you to notice.

If clients can message me, am I on call?

No, and the app is shaped to keep it that way. Messages are composed and sent rather than typed into a live box. Each client can have three waiting for a reply at a time, and answered ones free a slot. There are no read receipts in either direction, so nobody is watching to see whether you have opened something.

Can the daily check-in be automated?

No. It cannot be scheduled or auto-sent, and the numbers it carries are read off the client’s week at the moment you send, so a check-in is always proof somebody looked. One a day per client, editable afterwards, and a read-only coach can send them too.

Does my client know when I change their plan?

Yes, and not because you remembered to tell them. The app records what you changed since your last check-in, and your next check-in carries it: “They updated your meal plan and targets.” A silent change to somebody’s training is the thing that rule exists to prevent.

What happens if I cancel Pro?

Your client list stays and nobody is disconnected. The selector bar says coaching is paused until Pro is back, and nothing is deleted.

Can a client have more than one coach?

One active coach at a time. If a client connects someone else, the connection with you ends and you see that it ended.

Can I work from a laptop, or an Android phone?

Yes. The web app at app.fitly.chat has the same selector bar, roster, Review and assistant as the iPhone app, so any browser works. The native app is iPhone only for now.

Is there a free trial?

7 days of Fitly AI Pro, free, no card. Sign up on the web from this page and the code is filled in for you, or enter the code COACH when you sign up on iPhone. A coach invited by a client gets the same 7 days on accepting.

Your first client is one link away.
